R.H. "Hank" Seale, III

Founder, CEO

Hank Seale has experience both as a community banker and as an entrepreneur, building successful software companies that develop financial services solutions for community banks as well as provide award-winning customer support. After graduating from Texas Tech University in 1984, Hank moved to Austin, Texas, as a loan payments teller for The Bank of the Hills and worked his way up to Vice President of Operations. During that time, he served as Secretary and Treasurer of the Young Bankers Division of the Independent Bankers Association of Texas. After The Bank of the Hills was acquired, Hank moved to Dallas, Texas, and co-founded Regency Voice Systems, a company that introduced voice banking to community banks and evolved into a multi-million dollar business with over 1,600 community bank customers. While at Regency, Hank realized that helping community banks retain their individuality and integrity would become his passion. After Regency was acquired by Transaction Systems Architects, Inc. in 1997, Hank moved back to Austin and developed a business plan to start a company, Q UP Systems, offering the latest technology for community banks to stay competitive in attracting and retaining its customers.

Providing that latest technology along with the same personal touch that a community bank offers its customers were the driving factors that led Hank to start Q UP Systems, bringing Internet banking to community banks. Built on a quality product and excellent customer service, Q UP quickly became a successful multi-million dollar company with over 700 community bank customers. Hank was recognized as a nominee and finalist for Ernst and Young's prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year award in 1999. Q UP was sold to S1 Corporation in 2000, and Hank became the CEO of S1's Community and Regional Solutions group until he stepped down in 2001.

Hank has established ownership interests in capital investment firms, real estate firms, and another banking software company, CoreTrac, which provides CRM solutions to community banks. He serves as Chairman of the Board at CoreTrac and has been invited by the Federal Reserve Board to become a Class-B Director for the Dallas Region. When Hank left S1 in 2001, his dream of owning his own ranch became a reality when he sold his house in the city and moved to Dripping Springs, Texas. Besides working his ranch and maintaining his other business interests, he spends time creating and refining his vision for providing industry-leading technology solutions, along with superior customer service, to the community banking marketplace.
